ELECTRONIC SURVEY OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAETY SERVICES

Through Ordinance No. 324/2024, the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) created an electronic registry to report the individuals responsible for Occupational Health and Safety Services (hereinafter SPST) within companies.

The regulation reiterates that companies are obligated to implement Occupational Health and Safety Services in accordance with their specific characteristics and the provisions of Decree 127/014.

To this end, the MSP established an electronic survey system for companies to declare, via affidavit, the individual responsible for providing SPST. This registry must be updated annually or whenever a change occurs.

The registry is already operational, is free to access through the Ministry's website, and is managed by the Environmental and Occupational Health Division. This division will produce annual reports or reports whenever deemed necessary for occupational health professionals.

The MSP stated that the creation of the registry aims to effectively disseminate relevant information about current and future public policies related to occupational health professionals and to enhance the monitoring of workers' health.
